@arjaguirre That was because DLSU was meted the total suspension in 2005 for something the school itself investigated and admitted right away. The problem was just in basketball. The reason probably for this call is fair and uniform application.

Because the Constitution did not entrust democracy to political families. It entrusted it to the people.

If the very institutions controlled by political dynasties refuse to pass a meaningful anti-dynasty law — for reasons that are painfully obvious — then the people must do what the Constitution itself allows: write the law and pass it themselves.
