Latifa Patel; anyone who is a minority is disadvantaged, we don’t need more statistics. But in order to win the battle against DA, we still need statistics. IMGs exam lass rate is 53% and the likelihood of getting an unfavourable ARCP outcome is 7.2% compared to 3% in local grads

When applying for jobs, it’s more likely for British candidates to get the job given that English is their first language and the way they present themselves. We need to educate recruitment panels to recognise these differences and factor it.
There is not much in place to tackle DA especially when it comes to exams. For example, overseas candidates are disadvantaged when it comes to part2 and part 3 exams of the MRCOG. #LtF2022
