@ClareLSmith All staff @LeedsHospitals were truly amazing today. Patients and staff all safe. Porters, clinical staff, non clinical, security, managers, Comms team just to name a few were awesome, as were our patients. Thanks to wider emergency service too.
The critical incident at St James's Hospital has been stood down. All patients have returned to their wards. Thank you to our patients and the public for your patience and understanding today. Also our staff and Emergency Services for helping us to keep everyone safe.
Congratulations Rachel on receiving a well deserved Iris award today, in recognition of the outstanding, compassionate care you deliver to patients @LeedsHospitals J08. @LTHT_SIM are so lucky to have you with us.
It feels very surreal that as a nursing profession it has come to strike action. Please know that no single nurse that withdraws their labour has taken that decision lightly. We better than anyone appreciate the impact this will have but there is now no other choice.
The session is designed to be in addition to the mandatory & priority training!
The day is filled with interactivity & patient experience examples in order to stimulate discussion and questions that may not be answered via online training packages.
2023 Dates coming soon!
The @LTHT_SIM ECPS training days for 2022 are now over βοΈ
A f2f jam packed session to improve knowledge, dispel myths and ensure staff are aware of current practice & info on multiple essential topics.
We have had over 160 band 2-7 attend, since we began April 22.
The nutrition & Hydration sessions have been shadowed by several dieticians to ensure the most up to date info is being supplied.
Weβve also had @Amy1Dennis contacted us interested in topics to see if of a similar session would benefit Adult therapies.
