This meaningful week came to an end with such wonderful vibes after celebrating #mentalhealthawarenessweek on @LTJadeWard.
Mindful and colourful painting on Wednesday, an event with quiz, drinks and snacks on Thursday where we discussed about mental health!
It has been said "if we fill our minds with the positive experiences from our past, gratitude will fill us with confidence, optimism and hope for the future".
In this former SU's case, the future for him is evidently brighter, the success a by-product of the work put in by all.
It's not everyday we get a thank you card, but with the SU in question its hard to relay what a turnaround he made, the gratitude of the family is proof of what we do matters and it is appreciated.
It's a little belated (give a week๐ท), but it has been 5 years since Jade Ward started as a PICU!! Prior to this it was a mixed mental health assessment unit. We've had good times and bad, learnt a few lessons, staff has changed, but we remain here #NHS_ELFT#WorldMentalHealthDay
And so with a hearty feast and gifts to boot, we bid farewell to our #bosslady Shahida as she moves on to bring her knowledge, care and leadership to @Oakley_Court. We'll miss you but look forward to seeing you prosper even more, what a journey we have all shared with you.
