The prem test
A great test for the lads coming away for a 5-2 loss against one of the best sides in the area, for 70 mins we went toe to toe but we couldn’t get the job done, and the last 20 was one to forget but can be expected with the quantity of changes made

Exciting night tonight as Lions play and in house friendly against Athletic.
A game that for Lions will see lots of players getting game time, especially those who we haven’t seen much of.
The competition for a starting XI shirt goes on

Lions 3-3 Timberdine
A poor start left the lions 2-0 down but a great spirited comeback resulted in a 3-2 lead however this was short lived as Timberdine equalised soon after. Goals from Flell (px2) and Essex earned us the draw in a tough and even pre season test.

LTM Lions 3-1 Perrywood Reserves
The boys get their first win of Pre season. It took 80 minutes for us to get close to the standard we were playing at last weekend but we managed to get the long awaited and deserved win. Galvo and Will Essex with the goals.

However there were many positives to take from the day and some things the lads know they need to work on as the intensity ramps up as we hopefully approach the season.
Chins up, onto the next one.

Set peices, set peices, set peices...
Yesterday The Lions lost 5-3 to Worcester Saints, from 3 down the lads pulled the game back to 3-3 showing great spirit to get back into the contest. However it was sloppy defending at set peices that undid us.
Sunday mornings, we go again today!
