And, last but not least for the 2025 York football Hall of Fame is it 2014 graduate who still holds our school record with an amazing 352 yards in one game versus Grand Island Northwest Evan Neville! 🔵🟡🏈🟡🔵
Evan Neville, Class of 2014, was a key member of the York Duke Football Team and helped lead the Dukes to a State Championship appearance in his senior year under head coach Glen Snodgrass. He was a three year letter winner and an all-district and all-state player his junior and senior seasons. His senior year he rushed for 1642 yards and scored 26 touchdowns for the Dukes. Upon graduation, Evan was the all-time leader in points scored and he continues to hold the record for points scored in a season with 156 points in 2013. Additionally, he holds the single game rushing record of an amazing 352 yards vs Grand Island Northwest his senior year.
Evan’s most memorable moments as a Duke football player include beating #1 Scottsbluff in the playoffs his junior year and leading the team to a state runner-up finish during his senior season, which included a double overtime win over Ralston at a packed Levitt Stadium. He is proud that he got to be part of a team that had success with coaches that pushed us to be good football players but even better young men. Evan was a key leader in a class that truly set the stage for the future of York Duke Football.
