I'm not saying I agree with this choice and hell it really doesn't mean much considering the Russos aren't doing Brand New Day, but I think many of you are overreacting. This version of Spider-Man has already been Uncle Ben distant, no idea why that suddenly should change

I'm probably gonna get hounded for this, but hear me out first. What Joe Russo just said about MCU Spider-Man actually makes complete sense for this version of the character and if you watch his behavior throughout the Home trilogy, it fits.

Think about it, in HC, he says "everything that happened to her" for Aunt May when indirectly referencing Ben, why would he do that if this was a traditional Spider-Man origin? And in NWH, both Tobey and Andrew name drop Ben and Tom barely reacts.

The Brand New Day trailer definitely looks intriguing. Definitely getting the 90's cartoon vibes and if they pull that off I think I'll love this movie. The only thing is that the visuals look a little rough right now.

I don't at all buy the rumor going around about the opening of #AvengersDoomsday. I do think Tobey has a 95% chance of being in this movie and there is a good chance his universe gets destroyed, but I don't see why Doc Ock is here or why they would make the X-Men look bad so soon
