@HoopsAnalyst Chuck also played in Hartford for the Hellcats of the CBA. Before coming to Hartford, he was cut by the Spurs, watching him make 3-of-6 free throws on national TV in 1993-94. I think Chuck got traded away from Hartford mid season!
@HoopsAnalyst Perry had that year in Philly where he hit like 73 3-pointers. He never got anywhere near that before or after the fluke shooting year. Crazy…
The games we play in Bristol, Connecticut.
This city will bypass local talent for every out-of-towner possible.
We should just let Captain Crunch run the BOE…
Or maybe General Mills.
PATHETIC!
@HoopsAnalyst Ding dong Dontae! That’s what Tommy Heinsohn said when Jones hit three 3s at Detroit. I think Antoine Walker banked in a shot at the buzzer to beat the Pistons that night.
@bringmback23714@HoopsAnalyst Kemp was also vastly unpaid. When he was an AllStar for the first and second time, he was only making 650,000 and 750,000. I remember Sonic’s management wouldn’t talk to him about a restructure at all. Like Pippen. He got paid once the trade went through.
@HoopsAnalyst Vin had his last all star season before getting paid. And then the problems started. My west coast friends told me that the Baker for Anderson deal was a bad one. It was. Look at what happened…😵💫
@gatodelsol83@LoveRetroBTW I had the one where Bird played just six games due to bone spurs. They left Jim Paxson off the game! I started Kevin Gamble and had McHale come off the bench. Worked every time! McHale was demolition man!!! Mark Acres…not so much!
@HoopsAnalyst Smith just couldn’t rebound. He started a game in Hartford once. That’s all I have to say about that. I forgot that six game stretch where he averaged 15.0 ppg. Kevin Gamble went on a tear like that early on. Two years later, Gamble was starting. And Smith was gone!
@RasslinGrenade He was the first I saw in person do a reverse DDT. Barry was slick in the ring. Always one of my favorites by far! Would have loved to have seen him work in 1995 ECW.
@RasslinGrenade Horowitz and Lombardi defeated Lanny Poffo and Scott Casey on Wrestling challenge. I always thought the Skip win and reaction to it was silly. Barry was great everywhere else except WWF and WCW.
