@JordyP1993@JoeDonnohue Ramazani is left footed and cuts in from the right 🙂
This puts is in a better spot out wide than last season. Would imagine now, we would still need a no 10. But Solomon would probably be capable 🙂
Benson was pivotal in Burnley’s promotion push. He’s a fearless winger who loves taking on defenders, cutting in from the right, and scoring from outside the box with ease. With his knack for overperforming xG, he could be the spark Leeds are missing. #LUFC
#LUFC have their sights set on Manuel Benson as he prepares to exit Burnley this summer. The Whites are among several Championship clubs vying for the dynamic winger.

Might add more later but this pretty much sums up my view. Some strange outgoings, some obvious outgoings, and not enough in the way of replacements. Aaronson and Wober add to the squad, but we've lost big players. Fingers out now, board. Don't mess around.
Max Wober. Returns from Gladbach (who wanted to keep him). Supposedly staying (we'll see...) Experienced at UCL level, and known for being a leader. Again, stop booing him. Let him grow back into it. If he stays, he'll be massive for us.
Brenden Aaronson. Stop booing our players lads. He's come back, scored the equaliser. Yes, missed a chance to win the game vs Portsmouth, but bigger chances were missed earlier in the game and I don't see anyone chewing out Gnonto for missing his. Will be massive for us as a 10.
Charlie Cresswell. Meh. £5 million probably about right. But again, we haven't replaced him. Homegrown player. Deserves the chance to play. Underused by Farke? Just feels a strange one.
Joe Rothwell. Shrewd addition. Very good at this level, experienced, and adds a dynamic to the midfield that we didn't have last season: direct passing. Cannot harm to have this profile of player at the club.
Georginio Rutter. A confusing one for me. £40 million, imo, is an incredible deal. His lack of prolificness was frustrating. But he was a joy to watch. Incredibly creative. Needs replacing. But £40 million? Brighton could have done better and we have received a good fee for him.
Crysencio Summerville. Didn't force a move last summer. Stayed for a season, gave his all for us. Form dropped once teams doubled up on him. Again, can't fault him wanting the move. £25m seems disappointing given the other fees received, but overall probably fair. Will be missed.
Archie Gray. This'll be an unpopular one. Summarises the state of football. Youth gem leaves to PL club after one season of pro football. You cannot refuse him the opportunity, and frankly £35m for a championship player who couldn't unseat Glen Kamara is decent business.

Glen Kamara. Unnecessary sale. £10 million, so a decent profit in one season. But I think it's damning how many of the fans who used to groan at his "sideways passing" (ball retention) now realise that we miss him.
A very important player for Farke's system. Not yet replaced.
