In der Nacht auf den 18. Oktober traf es die Stadt am härtesten seit Kriegsbeginn. Über dem Umland wurden 145 Drohnen abgeschossen, der Flughafen Pulkowo stellte den Betrieb ein. In der Stadt starb ein Mensch, fünf wurden verletzt, 14 Wohnhäuser wurden beschädigt. Es brannte am Ölterminal, am Tanklager Ruchji, in einem Ozon-Lager und im Datenspeicher von VK. Auch eine Schrägseilbrücke wurde beschädigt.
Die Stadt spricht von einem Angriff ukrainischer Nazis, die Ermittler haben ein Terrorverfahren eröffnet. Eine Frau aus St. Petersburg wartet trotzdem seit zwei Tagen auf eine Erklärung. Das sei keine Spezialoperation mehr, sagt sie, denn eine Spezialoperation bleibe örtlich begrenzt.

⚡️BREAKING: Zelensky says vital US arms deliveries to Ukraine are being delayed

The Pentagon is postponing deliveries of weapons Ukraine needs, despite political agreements already reached.

The Ukrainian president also noted that Starlink restrictions remain in place on the front lines.

This is causing problems with military logistics and the use of drones.

In addition, Russian attacks overnight on October 19 damaged 28 substations and other critical Ukrainian energy facilities.

Zelensky said these issues would be discussed again with international partners.

According to The Kyiv Independent, the US is withholding Patriot missiles from Ukraine even though they have already been paid for by Ukraine’s allies.

“Contracts for Patriot missiles are on Hegseth’s desk. He isn’t signing them.” This could be an element of pressure on Kyiv.

Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Telefónica and Vodafone are exploring a joint bid for EU satellite spectrum to offer direct-to-smartphone connectivity.

The initiative aims to reduce Europe’s dependence on U.S. satellite providers amid growing transatlantic tensions.

The companies would build ground infrastructure and partner with an existing satellite operator rather than launch their own satellites.

BREAKING: "Insane situation!" Kimberly Guilfoyle enters hysterical freefall — she's holed up in the Ambassador's house, screeching at staffers who no longer obey her with an eviction looming.

And her problems are about to get way worse...

"All these people who were totally entranced by her and ignored the writing on the wall have now wiped photos with her, gone radio silent and claim they never wanted anything to do with her," a source close to Guilfoyle told The Daily Mail.

Guilfoyle, who was fired as the Ambassador to Greece after it was revealed that she asked a MAGA donor to pay off $100,000 of her American Express debt in exchange for access to top Trump administration officials, has been given until the end of October to vacate the cushy Jefferson House, the ambassadorial residence in Athens.

It's a fittingly ignominious end to the diplomatic career of a woman whose sole qualification for the post is that she was once engaged to Donald Trump Jr. and sufficiently flattered his father.

"The people in the embassy are no longer afraid of her. Nobody is listening to her or taking her orders anymore," one source in Greece revealed. "She is all alone in that house, screaming at her old staff that they are leakers, and waiting to get kicked out. It's an insane situation."

Several sources informed The Daily Mail that the disgraced Guilfoyle may ultimately decide to remain in
Europe rather than return to the U.S. Presumably, she's worried that she'll be prosecuted for her alleged crimes since Democrats — including Rep. Robert Garcia, the ranking member of his party on the House Oversight Committee — have already announced their intentions to investigate her.

"This is the latest in a long list of corruption surrounding the Trump Administration, and we're demanding answers," said Garcia.

As for President Trump, he has already washed his hands of Guilfoyle, tossing her under the bus like he has with so many other former allies and subordinates. When asked about her, he said: "She, I guess, dated my son a long time ago."

If this woman does indeed decide to remain in Europe, Democrats need to proceed with the investigations regardless. If and when a criminal case is assembled, she should be extradited to stand trial!
