From 13 to 15 July, the @Latvian_MFA will host the Meeting of Latvian Honorary Consuls to provide updates on current issues in Latvian foreign policy, key security policy matters and opportunities for bilateral economic and cultural cooperation. More than 90 Honorary Consuls will attend the meeting.

ℹ️ Honorary Consuls represent Latvia’s interests in all regions around the world and carry out their responsibilities on a voluntary basis.

🇱🇻🤝🇫🇷 Latvian underwater drone manufacturer SUBmerge Baltic has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with French defence and naval technology company Naval Group.

The cooperation will strengthen underwater drone control systems, ensure interoperability with Naval Group vessels and expand their use among allied naval forces.

💬 “Every day, Ukraine’s defenders demonstrate how modern warfare is evolving. The development of @NATO’s capabilities must be based on real combat experience – in drones, anti-drone capabilities, air defence and technological superiority,” 🇱🇻's FM @Braze_Baiba emphasised at the #NATOSummit, noting that these capabilities are essential for the security of NATO’s eastern flank, including the Baltic region.

Russian officials continue lying. While it’s not a surprise, here is a reminder of facts that Nordic Baltic ministers have stated.

The Baltic states do NOT allow airspace to be used by Ukraine for drone attacks. Russia's illegal war on Ukraine is a sole reason for all accidents.
