I’m convinced she just lets the vets/starters do whatever they want and is going to play them regardless. They don’t all play together a lot of the time

@Lisa67828968239 @AllisonS219 They are paying Atkins, hamby and KP a million each and convinced Nneka and wheeler to sign there so she’s not going to sit any of them regardless of how they are doing 😒 it is what it is I guess. They will beat bottom table teams but struggle against top teams

@nathancanilao They don’t have to cut her if they use 12 games. She can still exist as a DP (basically practice player) and just not play in games. But they way they are using her now wouldn’t be surprised if they upgraded her

@valkyriesreport They tend to activate her every other game at this point lol (even though she’s better than half their bench). She was activated last game so maybe wont be tonight. Even though I really want her to be able to play tonight.

@Lilcam2525 @ChristanWNBA Also Kate is more than just a culture piece. She’s good defensively, knows her role, is shooting well right now. Sparks are playing her as a DP over several of the regular roster players. It would force them to make a decision if Dallas goes after her.

As someone who follows the Valks, Kate was a significant part of the team playing 42 games and avg 16 minutes. So of course there are questions on if her DP contract will be upgraded because been solid off the bench
