Two-twos, this year's and next year's second round. Or our 2026 second round and the 2027 Ravens first round might get it done. We have been weak in the middle for too long. But doesn't he come with some off the field? Not sure we need that if we are building a fresh young team. Ruggs is still fresh in the minds of many, especially Mark's. That in itself might take us out of the mix of potential landing spots.

We have gone through four coaching staffs in four years and three GM. Newest just got in the building. You want to give up our most productive, and face of the franchise, for two first round picks. Who is to say the scouting department is worth a shit at this time and has all of their ducks in a row. No guarantees we will hit on 1 of three first rounders far less two or three. Keep Mad Max, trade down if you want but gaining through subtraction isn't the formula right now.

You have a 2013 Corvette that has seen it's prime. You see a 2025 Corvette you are in love with for sale 5k off sticker. But if you wait another year your raise kicks in and the new 2027 model will be available, you just have to hold out a bit to go from styling to statement. I get it, it's not insane to be patient and build right for the future, but RN has been frothing at the mouth to see some sense of dominance we once had. It's hard to convince a starving dog to sit and wait. Let's just hope TB and MD get something right. I'm still not a huge fan of theirs nor convinced they have what it takes to build an empire.

Again popular opinion, I wish they would have drafted McCarthy. I believe he will be a franchise QB when all is said and done. I'm not saying he's going to be better than Mendoza, don't get it twisted. But people didn't like Bradshaw, Elway, Manning, or even S. Darnold and Goff recently after their rookie seasons.
