“The single biggest problem with communication is the illusion that it has taken place”- George Bernard Shaw- famous polemicist (look it up)

[Lisa Villont @LVillont]

@mfee02 @Ticketmaster I wish Ticketmaster would have updated the site to reflect that- we stayed up until almost midnight trying to load any page that could at least tell us we missed our shot! I have a very young, scrappy, and hungry kiddo who is devastated :(

[Lisa Villont @LVillont]

@duffy_niki We had to make major changes to the way we do things before I completely lost my mind- hang in there, the semester is almost done!

[Lisa Villont @LVillont]

@Ticketmaster what’s the situation for #hamilton at #asu #gammagetheater? The site doesn’t say tickets are sold out, but I sure can’t get any to load- is the show sold out?

[Lisa Villont @LVillont]

@TyFox10 @Ticketmaster Is this true? Is that why my screen has been searching for tickets for hours? Why would they not update the site to say sold out?

[Lisa Villont @LVillont]

I’d like to hear about career disappointments/mistakes/funny stories. What do you have to share? #career #missteps #professionallife

[Lisa Villont @LVillont]

@jasontfix @TechCrunch BTW- I get it that text is not part of this

[Lisa Villont @LVillont]

@jasontfix @TechCrunch Maybe we could try getting voice to text in one language right before we start trying to translate? #whatcouldpossiblygowrong

[Lisa Villont @LVillont]

@GinaBondi1 I was surprised at how relatively few blog posts were made today

[Lisa Villont @LVillont]

@jasontfix @alexismadrigal This was a fascinating read.

[Lisa Villont @LVillont]

@zonta_shanna It depends on how bad the news is- I’m not getting tickets to a show? Phone call ya fine. Death notification? Better be face to face

[Lisa Villont @LVillont]

@zonta_shanna If I’m searching for something outside my filtered newsfeed, I find I can navigate my search on the pc better than on my phone

[Lisa Villont @LVillont]

@ar_asplund @ARan817 I think we confuse “fake” with”disingenuous”-

[Lisa Villont @LVillont]

@PattiVanDeGeju1 @NikkiCone16 I have had an account and just didn’t find any use for it so left it dormant- I’m actually enjoying this purposeful use, though

[Lisa Villont @LVillont]

@NikkiCone16 Real children from a real relationship that started online- and no, they are not babies, it’s been a minute (Twitter wasn’t a thing yet)

My work travels have me doing almost everything mentioned- who else? #WIUCMC https://t.co/bJJlptqvK9

[Lisa Villont @LVillont]

@duffy_niki Ugh. Just like every other kind of communication- what ISN’T happening is just as important as what IS

[Lisa Villont @LVillont]

How often is rudeness perceived but not intended? What ARE your boundaries? When is casual comm ok? #WIUCMC https://t.co/NMkh2L3Zff

Office bullying is declining, but general rudeness is up, thanks to online communication technology. #orgcomm https://t.co/KuJCBKXDYz

[Lisa Villont @LVillont]

@duffy_niki I think it probably emboldens some to participate in controversial activities believing that “everybody” thinks the same- no. We don’t
