i am deeply moved by this anti-Israel / anti-zionist demonstration in phuket by my fellow countrymen and women so i would like to translate what she said:

for context, the protest was outside a a jewish new year gathering and it was organised by chabad in phuket. chabad is a global jewish community organisation that sets up community centres and synagogues all over the world.

she said:

"the reason i came today is because i'm from phuket, born and raised here. my dad has been driving a tuk-tuk since there were only 7 or 8 tuk-tuks in patong. phuket is a multicultural place. we have buddhist temples, mosques, churches, hindu temples, sikh temples. we have everything, every religion, every ethnicity.

Seorang laki-laki dewasa merudapaksa anak perempuan usia 4 tahun yang mengakibatkan alat kelamin anak itu terluka. Lalu anak itu dinikahkan dengan laki-laki tersebut oleh ayahnya. Bagaimana hukumnya?

Fatwa Imam Nawawi:
Perudapaksa itu harus membayar denda 50 unta dengan beberapa spesifik yang ditentukan. Dia juga wajib membayar mahar dengan nominal yang berlaku di sana. Hakim lalu memberikan putusan hukum terkait tindak pidana kekerasan yang telah terjadi (pelukaan alat kelamin). Had zina (entah dirajam sampai mati atau dicambuk 100 kali) juga diberlakukan kepadanya.

Terkait hukum pernikahan anak itu dengan laki-laki tersebut, batal dan tidak sah. Ayahnya tidak punya wewenang untuk menikahkannya dengan tanpa konsensual dari anak tersebut.
