I think at this point, we must agree that most of these banditsβif not allβ lack proper education. If that's the case, can we also agree that ensuring proper education across the country can help reduce the easy recruit of these children into these terror groups? Just wondering.
There are over 200 Okadas in several clusters on Castle Rock Road. The number keeps growing as if someone comes to drop them in batches of 40 weekly. Bikes are banned but the state can't enforce basic rules.
Nobody knows where these guys are from? How do over 200 unknown guys with bikes suddenly appear in a community? Who procured the bikes for them? A bike now costs over N1million. What is the source of funding for the bikes?
The police at the Maroko division are only concerned about stopping people driving flashy cars. The state is on autopilot.
When people of the Abrahamic faith (Christians and Muslims) lose a bout they should win, itβs the will of God. God has a better plan.
When adherents of the African traditional religion lose the same bout, you people declare juju powerless and mock their beliefs.
Hypocrites.
Good bless you for this position. LG should be responsible for Waste Management. I think their oversight would be more effective than the centralized one that is currently in place.
Waste management can't function effectively at the State level. It has to be decentralized to the LG while the State provides the regulatory oversight. Waste management fees should be a part of council tax per household. Inspection and monitoring should be at LG level.
@arojinle1 Just to add to your point, Traditional Africans never called theirs "gods." The use of "gods" for African supernatural beings is to denigrate them.
It is quite unfair and discriminatory.
Well, in academia, we face this often. Don't you find it concerning that we use AI to detect AI? Huh? Lol. That guy (AI) Hallucinates a lot. It takes someone well grounded in human intelligence to handle that tool. The place of human intelligence replaced.
This logic used and parallel drawn isn't strong/sound enough, so sorry to say. Whatever comparison has to be comprehensive. There is a necessity to consider the entire reality that played out in the brouhaha of the Camera lady. Not this keep mute if a thing. π
My opinion anyway.
Tourist comes to Lagos and enters BRT bus. Proceeds by standing up to address everyone.
βFellow bus riders, my name is Sandra from Philadelphia and I need everyoneβs consent before recording my tourist videos. If you agree stay mute, if you disagree drag my phone off meβ. π€‘π€‘π€‘
Sometimes, God makes sure your blessings donβt come from certain quarters, that way you donβt end up feeling indebted to the wrong people. That in itself is a blessing, even though itβs hard to see it at the beginning.
@DrJoeAbah@SIRWHYKAY For example, if the yearly increment on a N70,000 is 5%. Hence, base on level and step, a level 7 won't just receive N40,000 after the implementation. All expected accumulation the base would have attracted over time, should have been added. I think this is his point, sir.
Well....
Probably, you are part of the many who expect a smooth read while engaging his works. I can say for certain that HE WRITES!!! No capping!!! I never understood his prose "The Man Died" for a long time. It took a critical lens to understand him. Again, HE WRITES!!!
Very interesting. It is my most preferred areas of research, after Environmental Ethics. It brings out the calculative aspect of me. 1+1 may only become 2 after one must have verified that there is no other 2 hanging somewhere to divide whatever b4 the result is even realised. π
