We now hear from Louise Earnshaw (Leeds)! Their paper is entitled “An die psychischen Leiden des Kriegsgefangenen dachte man gar nicht”: Violence and Trauma among Austrian POWS during the Greater War, 1914-24
Louise Earnshaw is a PhD Candidate, researching aspects of Gender, Violence, and Trauma in Austria in WW1 and Interwar period. Louise is looking forward to hearing about women as political agents, learning about inclusive pedagogies within German studies, and meeting WIGS members
