Again, I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has already pre-ordered. It's a story that's very close to my heart. #HistoricalFiction
Matt was one of the first people who spoke to me on Twitter and he was a dear friend. I even got the chance to read one of his unpublished stories. Rest easy, Matt. #WritingCommunity

@MidwestMatt Rest in paradise, Matt. I didn't know you well, but in the short time we spoke, you were such a kind friend. You'll be missed. Prayers to your daughter, partner and family.
@stephenRB4 Hi Stephen,
Thank you for your reply. Yes, I know it's something we all go through at some point. I will certainly get back into marketing again once I've finished, but I think I'll need to make a plan of how exactly I will do that. π
Social media and marketing for Indies is a complex situation as is, made even more complex when I've developed anxiety around posting anything and my mind constantly flip flops between "I have to post for exposure" to "Why should I?" #anxiety#Writing#books
I don't post this so people will feel sorry for me, just so everyone would know why I'm not here. I don't owe anyone an explanation, but wanted to give one. Writing is still very important to me and I don't want anyone thinking I've given up. I work on this dream daily.
I worry about posting a fake version of myself. But also worry about expressing myself in ways that are not appealing to others, making others less drawn to connecting with me and my work.
