@whitemagemaxing Donated by the Diocese of Lyon, the reliquary was installed during the first visit of the Duke of Anjou in Aug 1992. The fragments come from Louis IX's remains, dismembered by his brother Charles of Anjou in Tunis in 1270, split between Sicily and France.

L'Église fête aujourd'hui Saint Roch. Âgé de 20 ans à la mort de ses parents, il distribua le gros de son héritage aux pauvres et entreprit un pèlerinage vers Rome. Sur la route, il guérit de nombreux infortunés accablés par la peste. Il mourut en prison à son retour en France.
