My 3 year old recently made me realize that we may be living in the same country but expecting completely different things from it.
We passed a small airstrip with a helicopter parked there. He asked what it was.
I said, “An aeroplane.”
He replied, “No, it's a helicopter, It rescues people when they’re in danger, like when there’s a fire.”
I went quiet. I wasn't sure whether to tell him that, in our country, being rescued by a helicopter is mostly something you see in movies. Should I tell him.

Crazy thought:
Ceuta is geographically in Africa. What if Spain handed it over to Morocco? Would it reduce the migration crisis or would people simply find another route?
Maybe the problem isn't the border. Maybe it's the gap in opportunity between the two sides.
