Today’s escalation shows three main patterns. These patterns do not suggest that Thailand’s main goal is territorial gain, but rather to increase civilian displacement, apply psychological warfare, and shape the environment before diplomatic meetings begin.
🔸Thai forces demolish a 2014-built Vishnu murti in Cambodia's An Ses area
-ICJ awarded the 11th-century Khmer temple to Cambodia in 1962
-India's condemned it as "disrespectful act" hurting Hindu sentiments

What is Thai’s religion? 🇹🇭
All ancient temples and statues in Cambodia were built as sacred places, not for decoration. Thailand must be held responsible for its actions!

Foreigners Applaud Cambodia’s Peace Spirit, Call It a Safe Destination
PHNOM PENH – Foreigners are recommending Cambodia to international travelers, affirming the Southeast Asian country as safe, with lovely and united people.
William Meyer, a U.S. resident who has been living in Cambodia for four years, said he has never experienced any safety-related issues.
Meanwhile, a French family of four who has been in the country for nearly two weeks and plans to spend their Christmas vacation in Siem Reap province said they were surprised by how beautiful the country is and how warm and welcoming the people are.
They also took part in the December 18 March for Peace amid border tensions, expressing Cambodia’s spirit of peace and calling for respect for the ceasefire.
Organized by the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC), the three-kilometer march began at the night market and ended at the Independence Monument.
[Op-Ed] I feel compelled to address the international community regarding recent claims made by certain Thai political leaders and segments of Thai society asserting that the Ta Krabei Temple belongs to Thailand. These claims have generated public debate, but they also raise a fundamental and deeply troubling question that cannot be ignored: if the temple truly belongs to Thailand, why was it destroyed by the Thai army?

Despite ongoing mediation efforts by the United States and China to end the armed conflict between Cambodia and Thailand, the Thai military has continued its attacks, openly disregarding international calls for restraint.
At around 11:00 p.m. on December 19, 2025, two Thai Air Force F-16 fighter jets dropped three bombs on O Chik Bridge, completely destroying the structure and rendering it impassable.
The O Chik Bridge, located on National Road 68, connects Siem Reap and Oddar Meanchey provinces. For more than a decade, it had served as a critical civilian lifeline, supporting daily transportation, local commerce, agricultural logistics, and access to schools for students in surrounding communities.
The destruction of the bridge has severely disrupted livelihoods and mobility for residents in both provinces, compounding the humanitarian impact of the conflict.
