Breaking: A judge in district court in Lubbock County, Texas, has granted the injunction requested by Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby. He’s set to be eligible for the 2026 season.
Sorsby cannot play in Texas Tech's first two games, which was the penalty his legal team suggested to the NCAA.
It should be noted that asking Porter to win before he gets resources is backwards. He's a good coach and those asking for his head do not understand athletics. Coaches want to move up because of the resources. If he is given resources he will do big things.
Kirk Herbstreit is fantastic at his job, this is not to comment on that. Last night he told GM's and coaches to stop chasing 5 stars and transfers and said to build a team in reference to Miami. Miami has chased 5 stars and transfers left and right.
@ImDerBatman Be happy for the kid. I once had an athlete compete at a high level then spend the last year at the best academic school in the country. Best of both worlds. Play at a high level and get a great degree
In the end OUs special teams let them down. Dropped punt, shanked punt, personal foul on the punt return, missed field goals. Alabama had short fields a lot
So, I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say but does it matter who you beat to get in the playoff or who you lost to? Notre Dames losses are much better than Miami's. Should that matter? Some teams are judged by winning, others by how they play even if they are winning
People are mad at Mateer. But the truth is vs Tenn he saved them negative 100 yards by making plays (per Cole Cubelic) and today he made the plays that mattered. Brett Favre will make strange plays but that's what makes him great. He needs to keep doing what he is doing.
@OhItsOklahoma Bad take. He was the AD at Texas A&M and made the Jimbo hire there as well as the Kelly hire. Had a big fall off this year and as angry as OU fans are the team is much better. If OU wants to be Nebraska then fire him otherwise let things play out
@GeorgeStoia Can we agree that the George instant reaction was in the moment and how we all felt and this analysis after watching is right? It's the little things in the SEC and to be honest not everything has to be thrown out.
