#VPDNews: Vancouver Police is appealing for public assistance, including dashcam and CCTV footage, following an unprovoked assault at a Marpole bus stop on July 7.
At approximately 9:25 a.m., a man was waiting for a bus near Southwest Marine Drive and Ash Street, when a male suspect approached from behind, pushed the victim, and ripped headphones that he was wearing off his head.
The suspect then allegedly struck the victim multiple times with a longboard-style skateboard. The victim managed to flee the scene while calling 911. He sustained minor injuries to his forearm.
Investigators are releasing a cellphone photo of the suspect and are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or drivers who may have dashcam footage from the area on Tuesday, to contact the VPD non-emergency line at 604-717-3321.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
@OneCityVan onecity had four years to fix Vancouver and only made it worse. Voting OneCity, Greens, or COPE means returning to the horrors of 2018 to 2022.
The BC NDP wants people to believe it ended all tanker traffic along British Columbia’s northern coast.
That’s simply delusional.
U.S. ships still make 217 round trips every year carrying oil through those waters.
It's not a "tanker ban." It's an economic blockade.
It's not a "tanker ban." It's an NDP economic blockade.
Foreign ships still sail freely along B.C.'s northern coast.
The only thing being blocked is our prosperity, while doing absolutely nothing to protect the environment.
