Fifteen years ago, experts scoffed at the idea of running 222 kilometers through Ladakh, a journey that would include conquering the supposedly impassable Khardung La. Undeterred, I rallied a band of like-minded adventurers to not only attempt this feat but to double down, crossing two of the region’s highest mountain passes.

As more and more runners defied the odds, we pushed the limits further, extending the race to 333 kilometers with three towering peaks to overcome.
