@TeachingBioche1 The module that inspired me to get into Med Comms! I use what you and that module taught me every day at work - including to “own my sh*t” 😉
10 years ago today I got a junior chemistry kit
Nearly 5 years later I got my first university lab coat
In the last month I celebrated a year since graduating with an MSc in biochemistry, and a year as a medical writer
What I wouldn’t give to tell this to my younger self…
So @Deliveroo - The driver who has just delivered to us has just rolled into the back of another car parked on the street, badly dented it, and then just driven off. Do you think this is acceptable behaviour of those you employ?
I started my first proper writing project at work this week, just a simple abstract. Half of me is super proud of the stuff I’ve written and the feedback has been great so far but there’s still that small voice in the back of my head…
Can barely believe that now I’ve graduated, I finally have the time, energy and mental capacity (and money) to pursue things that actually make me happy - like this neon crochet jellyfish I made today!!
I went into the office for the first time today. The best thing about it wasn’t the socialising or the social distancing still being in place - it was discovering that the kitchen has a “boiling” tap for my tea making dreams 😍☕️🫖
@sainsburys can someone tell me why I was delivered these burgers yesterday and not informed in my email that they were to go out of date on the day of delivery?
Tonight I get to enjoy a cup of tea by candle light on my balcony, watching the sun set over the Manchester skyline. Tomorrow night, I get to prepare for my first day at my new job.
