Great spotlight on our visiting scholar, Usisipho Feleni @usengfellz, associate professor at the University of South Africa. She has had a very successful career, we are lucky to collaborate with her as a UMAPS scholar! @MichiganChem@LabBartlett#UMAPS

Bartlett Lab Summer wrap-up: great posters by Chris, Ryan (poster awards to both), and Jake, as well as an excellent talk by Li at the Karle Symposium!
We were also thrilled to have hosted two visiting high school students, Landon and Kyle. A great summer for the lab!
The group is looking great in our most recent lab photo. We'd like to welcome our new postdoc, Calla, and our two high school researchers, Landon and Kyle. #MichiganChem#GoBlue
At yesterday's group meeting we celebrated the end of Bob's department chair term @MichiganChem. We presented Bob with a few gifts to recognize the last six years (!) of chair. Here he is pictured with his very own department chair 🥳 On to you @LabBartlett@bartmartbart
Congratulations to Professor Bart Bartlett for receiving the 2022 Imes and Moore Mentorship Award! This award is presented to faculty members who have made exceptional contributions toward recruiting and mentoring grad students from disadvantaged and non-traditional backgrounds.
Today, the U-M Board of Regents approved my appointment as Chair of the Department of Chemistry (@MichiganChem). My four-year term begins on July 1, 2022. I'm truly honored to have my colleagues' support.
