They don't stand behind their product, when it is THEIR fault that the serial number faded in the first place, not mine. Now I have a useless dishwasher and I wasted my money on an extended warranty.

@samsung does not have good customer service. their dishwasher has a poorly placed serial number label that has partially faded, and even though it shows it was manufactured in February 2018 they can't service it because the serial number is unreadable.

One agent told me it could be serviced, but I guess he was lying, as the next day the ticket was closed because of missing serial number.

@ladder Anyone following the thread... note that they won't actually get back to you, and they didn't bother explaining their misleading e-mails. I think what they did to me is borderline illegal, good thing for them I'm not litigious.

Beware @ladder life insurance. Even though they say you are approved with no disclaimer, you can then be denied a couple hours later. VERY MISLEADING AND A WHOLE LOT OF STRESS for something that is supposed to be "easy".
