Merry Christmas and a happy new year to everyone!
With the beginning of 2025, we will leave X. Hopefully, we stay in contact with you all via other tools. We will be active at LinkedIn and you can follow our news there. https://t.co/BINinNRzlD
Two talks at MRS fall #F24MRS! On Tuesday, 4:15pm at EN01.07.04 Roland will talk about Supply Risk Considerations for PEC Water Splitting Materials and on Thursday, 1:30pm he will present High-Entropy Spinel Ferrites (SF02.10.01). Interested? Come, join and chat. @Materials_MRS
After a week full of traveling around Japan and excellent scientific meetings with Prof. Kazuhiko Maeda and Prof. Akihiko Kudo, Roland reached his final destination, the #IPS24 at Hiroshima, meeting old and new friends there. @EderGroup@marcus_einert@fatwafirdaus@SebSprick
Two days later at 11:30 am Roland will present our high entropy spinel ferrites for OER, and few hours later at 4 pm he will present all our iron based absorbers and catalysts. So, if you are interested in the present topics, just come by! #S24MRS
Roland will have a busy week with 4 presentations at the MRS Spring meeting @Materials_MRS#S24MRS. He will talk about CuFe2O4 for electrochemical CO2 reduction on April 23 at 1:45 pm, just an hour later at 2:45 pm he talks about earth-abundant co-catalysts for photocatalysis.
Finally, our semi-quantitative analysis of short-term and long-term supply risks of PEC water splitting materials was published in Energy & Environmental Science @RoySocChem. https://t.co/KVyErbty35
@apfel_lab@ruhrunibochum@unibt@UMSICHT A new earth-abundant bifunctional electrocatalyst for water splitting! Thank you again for this great collaboration with you and your team @apfel_lab. Looking forward to the next one!
Last week, the Bavaria & Queensland Research Alliance workshop took place in Brisbane at @QUT Kelvin Grove Campus. It was a great event to meet colleagues from Queensland and Bavaria, and to development new research ideas. Thank you all very much, it was a pleasure!
Very good news! Our results about high-entropy oxides and electrocatalysis were published in Adv. Funct. Mater. (https://t.co/iRYE3siLUV). Many thanks to our collaborators @MPIEisen . There is also a press release of @unibt regarding our paper here: https://t.co/jzxw5fVkCI
Tomorrow, Roland will present our results @tuBraunschweig within the @GDCh_aktuell Colloquium. The Colloquium will start at 15 o´clock. Looking forward to meeting you there!
Another paper is finally out! Judith´s results on earth-abundant co-catalysts for photocatalytic hydrogen generation can be found here @JMaterChem: https://t.co/2pRWQloF9M
#FKWahl2023 Es geht los!
Die #Fachkollegien-Onlinewahl läuft ab jetzt 🕑 bis zum 20. November 2023 (14 Uhr). Die #DFG ruft alle Wahlberechtigten auf, von ihrem Stimmrecht Gebrauch zu machen und so aktiv, direkt und fachnah an der Selbstorganisation der #Wissenschaft mitzuwirken.
We would not withhold the great news that Mirco´s paper is finally out ! If you are interested in the importance of the seeding layer formation and photoelectrochemical performance of WO3, check it out. https://t.co/aPZnS5s4lU
During yesterday’s poster session at the symposium #N2X@nanoGe_Conf Julian had the chance to present his results on photocatalytic stability of carbon nitride/pyrite composites. It was a really nice atmosphere and thanks to all for the fruitful discussions. #MATSUS2023
Roland and Julian are attending the nanoGe Conference #MATSUS23 starting tomorrow. They will present our results at the symposium #N2X - Recent advances on nitrogen activation and conversion. So, if you are around @nanoGe_Conf and interested, say “hi”.
We wish you all the best for your new endeavors in Jena. We are looking forward to continuing our joint projects, now as a Bayreuth-Jena collaboration.
Today something personal: Dear Birgit @LabWeber , thank you very much for 5 great years working together @unibt. You always had an open ear for me, we generated so many ideas together, and I will miss our lunch breaks.
