On Tuesday, our PhD student @sofia__mauri defended her doctoral thesis on the role of USP8 in regulating proteostasis.
We're so proud of her hard work and dedication - congratulations, Sofia!🥳
We’re thrilled to announce that next Monday, we’ll be hosting Prof. @iDikic2 from @IBC2_GU Frankfurt, a leading expert in molecular biology! He will take us through the fascinating world of ubiquitination and its crucial role in autophagy

🚀 Greta Bernardo’s paper is out! A great collaboration between Drs Ziviani @LabZiviani@ElenaEleziv and Finley (HMS, Cell Biology Department) labs. Specific inhibitor of proteasome-associated USP14 is protective in neurons of human origin lacking the mitophagic protein Parkin.
We know we’ve been a bit quiet lately… but great things take time! 😉
We’re excited to announce that we’re back and ready to share some amazing news with you.
Stay tuned! 🔬
At @LabZiviani we are looking for postdocs interested in mitochondrial proteostasis and deubiquitinating enzymes in PD and ALS. Positions are open starting from Sept 2022. Please email me directly at [email protected]@mitojobs
Finally is out! Thank you everybody for the efforts!
