Families come in all shapes and sizes. Every single one is precious.
Supporting families is one of the best things local, state & federal governments can do.
Banning books about families is one of the worst things.
Cumberland Council, time to reverse this decision.
How the fuck do we live in a country like this while they gleefully spend 300 billion on submarines and hundreds more billions on franking credits, negative gearing rebates and private school swimming pools? Like honestly, how the fuck do we allow it?

Ted O'Brien - LNP Shadow Minister for climate change and energy - received a real community reaction to the LNP's ridiculous nuclear proposal. I doubt he's proposing a reactor for the Sunshine Coast. #noidea#nonukes
Ted O'Brien has been left humiliated at the Solar and Storage conference in Brisbane as attendees staged a walkout & heckled in protest against his speech on Nuclear after the shadow energy minister persisted with false claims about the costs & reliability of Renewable energy.🔥
In Old English, the ampersand, '&', was considered the 27th letter of the alphabet. Children reciting the alphabet in school would chant 'per se', Latin for 'by itself', after letters that were words in themselves: 'A per se A, I per se I', etc, and also '& per se &'. This 'and per se and' eventually became mangled to 'ampersand'.
The symbol & was Roman shorthand for 'et', 'and'.

I am honoured to announce that His Majesty The King has approved my recommendation to appoint Ms Samantha Mostyn AO as Australia's next Governor-General.
The attacks on the scientific community by the LNP are unrelenting.
Dutton continues the Trumpian tradition of lies, spin, misinformation and ignoring reality.
He is unfit for high office. He puts personal and political gain over the national interest! https://t.co/jGUKSOQZNj
CSIRO Chief Executive blasts Dutton in extremely rare intervention in politics!
Australia’s top science agency has made a rare political intervention, with CSIRO chief executive Douglas Hilton defending his agency’s findings on the costs of nuclear power against an attack from Peter Dutton, who claimed the work was discredited and questioned its integrity.
At question is CSIRO’s GenCost report, which advises investors on the cost of electricity production from energy systems, including renewable energy, coal generation and nuclear plants.
Released in December, it showed that renewables were cheaper than coal and nuclear electricity. @smh
