Tom Hinchcliffe & Team out and about on the Fairfield estate on Thursday meeting residents and delivering our leaflet! Great response from everyone - Thank You! West Leeds
Great to meet Northern business leaders at the @coopuk in Manchester.
Central to our mission for growth is unlocking the potential of every town, city and region in Britain.
Labour will work in partnership with businesses and working people to achieve just that.
There is hope for a better future for Britain.
Labour will do things differently, rebuilding Britain from the bottom up and middle out.
We will forge new partnerships with businesses, with our allies and with working people to build a stronger, more resilient economy.
I'm supporting #CarersWeek! Unpaid carers in Bramley and Stanningley do selfless, committed work for the most vulnerable in our community. More support must be put in place to help them.
Pleased to see this bollard has been put up on the Ashbys in Bramley after it was reported to me that vehicles had been illegally driving through the ginnel. Thank you to Leeds City Council’s Highways officers for their prompt action.
👮♂️ I’ve been out in Bramley helping to set up Neighbourhood Watches with West Yorkshire Police.
These are free to set up and the Police provide helpful material to prevent antisocial behaviour.
If you’d like to set up a Neighbourhood Watch, email me and I’ll be happy to assist.
Councillor @kevin_ritchie1 and I visited Newlay Bridge to speak with engineers who are working on the Flood Alleviation Scheme that will prevent many homes and businesses from flooding.
We will keep residents updated on the progress of the scheme.
UPDATE: I'm pleased to confirm that we have secured a new bus service for Calverley Lane and Leeds and Bradford Road.
The number 9 service will serve parts of our community from 3rd July. Thank you to Yorkshire Buses for stepping in to provide this service.
New timetable below.

Dear councils, 97% of UK meadows are gone. So if you have wildflowers like ox-eye daisies on roadverges and in public spaces, don't spray them with weedkiller or over-mow them. Let's give pollinating insects like bees and butterflies a chance 🐝
