Labour For Consett South

Labour, campaigning for Consett South🌹 Sticking up for the people of Moorside, The Grove, Genesis Way, and Allensford

[Labour For Consett South @LabourForCS]

We’ve heard the elected Lib Dem in Consett South hasn’t been up to much so we’ve rebranded this page and we’re here to hold him to account.

Get in touch if you’re fed up of a lack of action in Consett South. Big talk during the campaign but it turns out they’re not delivering!

@LKTranslator I totally agree , but is the opposition combat ready, there needs to be a completely opposed opposition, not a faint shadow of what is already in government.

@siennamarla I honestly believe that the original pledges were. A/ achievable and honest.
B/delivered by a Party leader that was out of favour by the electorate.

My biggest concern is that we as a Party ,. Rip up the original manifesto and turn it into a liberal , "one size fits all" thing.

Beautiful end to a fantastic day.

Thank you for all your support, it’s been amazing to speak to residents about what means the most to them.

Remember you can vote in person until 10PM.

FLYTIPPING SORTED ✅

I reported some flytipping on Evansleigh Road, The Grove, and it has now been cleaned up by the Council.

I’ll always make sure our area is clean and tidy.

A vote for Mark Appleby is a vote for a clean Consett South 🗳

So much talk about Consett incinerator plans recently.
If you’ve read my leaflets you’ll know I’m firmly AGAINST the proposals & I’ve submitted a formal objection stating why.

Check out my latest piece in Consett Magazine.

Great session in #TheGrove yday. The area has been allowed to slip into a bad state of disrepair & there’s huge lack of amenities for kids. A vote for me on 6 May is a vote for change, #ConsettSouth deserves more & I’ll be strong voice on DCC for residents. #KeepDurhamLabour

This is my excited face 😃 and I’m excited because I get to see my hometown club play in the FA Vase final this afternoon. Come on @ConsettAFC bring it home 🏆⚽️

Today is Workers’ Memorial Day #IWMD2021

We remember especially all those in Consett who have died while working.

It is wonderful that we have a place to honour those who died at The Consett Works on our doorstep.

We fight for safe work places in their memory.
