As concern about climate change and environmental issues rightly increase it's very important to remember that almost all the legislation about climate change and environmental protection has come from the EU with the UK playing a key part in helping to formulate it.

Polly is a Labour councillor and a director of the UK100 network of local govt leaders who have pledged moving to 100% clean energy by 2050. She was also a member of Haringey ‘Zero by 2050’. She explains how the changes will create healthier communities and new jobs.
