A joke for you…
Water company bosses, the chairs of Ofwat and the Govt’s Environment Agency walk into a bar
Over a private members’ club dinner, they discuss how to quell public anger over bill rises & sewage spills
Except…
It’s not a joke.
NEW PARLIAMENTARY MOTION FOR A CEASEFIRE
I have put down the first backbench motion of the new parliamentary session.
It calls for a ceasefire to help save lives.
It already has the support of 93 MPs from 8 separate parties.

@peterkyle Kyle - Another Labour shadow cabinet member, and VC of Labour Friends of Israel, who has not mentioned Gaza at all. Silent on Israeli war crimes and genocide. It’s as if 5 thousand dead and 16 thousand injured are unimportant. Luckily Hove people are better than their MP.
The govt has announced greater involvement of the private sector in the NHS, supposedly to tackle waiting lists
@DrAmirKhanGP provides an excellent explanation about why using the private sector undermines the NHS still further (and hastens its demise)
Last week, Rory Stewart (bless him, he'd obviously no idea of what has been going on out here ) caused apoplexy amongst 'centrists' when he praised Corbyn. What followed was a deluge of quite irrational condemnation. Predictable Stewart rowed back. Now Jackie Walker 'Talks Back', giving her take on the interview, his views on Corbyn and the dysfunction that is our Parliamentary system.

UK Labour party: The curious case of Britain's forgotten 2017 election: Corbyn polled just a few hundred thousand fewer votes than Blair in 1997's landslide and still has higher approval ratings than Starmer. His erasure from UK political memory is telling https://t.co/hwjelL5jNs
Are Labour fit to govern?
Not if this is anything to go by.
Shocking and shameful!
Please RT until they pay up.

Keir Starmer is intent on recounting the mean streets of his youth. Only there’s a problem: those mean streets were in Oxted, Surrey, home to an annual pram race and a Peter Rabbit trail.
Why every politician now has a sob story. Me for @novaramedia
