Looking forward to speaking to @LabourMorecambe's fish and chips dinner tonight on the topic, "Labour's Women of the Past: Inspirations for the Future".
I will be speaking about some of my favourite Labour women MPs 👩🦱🌹❤️
I have asked for these raised flower beds in West End Gardens Morecambe to be given some attention like why not actually plant some flowers. They look in a sorry state.
Councillor Jason Wood calling for a fully funded pay rise for Council and school workers at The meeting of Lancaster City Council last night. A Labour Group proposal. Well done Jason for speaking up for frontline workers.
Fantastic win, Mags and her team have worked incredibly hard on a really positive campaign. Our new councillor will work hard for the ward. Thank you all to everyone who has helped and voted @UKLabour yesterday

@PrideMorecambe were told on Wednesday (just ONE MONTH before the event is scheduled to take place) that they aren’t to receive @morecambetc funding to support the popular event.

Sometimes persistence is key in politics, the wheels in the background can turn remarkably slowly but Labour Councillors like Margaret Pattison make sure we get there in the end. https://t.co/brtJIO9Ah6
Congratulations to @shrimpsofficial on their achievements this season. This is excellent news and we look forward to supporting them in their future endeavours just as soon as we’ve calmed down from all the excitement! #UTS | #MFCInItTogether
Was great for myself and fellow @LabourMorecambe members to visit the Humanitarian Aid for Ukraine collection point in the Arndale Centre today. Well done to Jack White for his amazing work organising this collection, and to the people of Morecambe who have been very generous.
Tom Tyler and the team were out delivering by-election flyers today in Bare South West. This by-election was triggered due to an MBI councillor being removed from the council for failing to attend meetings. Tom will work hard for the ward and all of Morecambe. Vote Labour.
Councillor @davidwhitaker40 & his team were out speaking to residents in the West End of Morecambe thismorning. Once again we’ve heard lots of concern about rising energy prices. Labour would levy a one-off windfall tax against the energy companies and reduce bills by £100’s.
You don’t just see us out at elections, we are part of the communities we serve. If you live in Carnforth look out for a newsletter from your Councillor @Taylor4CandM Luke Taylor.
On International Women’s Day, we celebrate the progress towards women's equality - and commit to do more.
Labour will put women at the heart of our recovery, because we know they hold the key to a stronger economy.

Under the Tories, your energy bills are going to increase next month.
Labour would give you security by cutting energy bills this year with a one-off windfall tax on oil and gas profits.
