Dry grass is extremely flammable at this time of year! Once ignited, dead and dry vegetation can fuel a fast-moving wildfire. Please use caution when you’re working or recreating outdoors. Last year, 67% of wildfires were human-caused. #ABWildfire

Alix and Clive crews are on scene of a serious collision at the intersection of Hwy 12 and Hwy 601 and will be diverting traffic.

Avoid the area and give crews room to work.

Winter Road Warning!

With this weather road conditions are quickly deteriorating, use extra caution and leave lots of room between vehicles around you.

Busy night for crews with three nearly simultaneous incidents in the County.

Lacombe and Clive Fire remain on scene of a bail fire south of Lacombe. This incident is likely to continue causing smoky conditions within the City well in to the day.

Road conditions have worsened quite quickly use extra caution on Hwy 2 and watch for crews on scene of a multi vehicle collision between Lacombe and Blackfalds. @511Alberta

SCBA orientation day with Alix Fire today. As of today all but one of our LCFS departments have been converted to MSA G1 SCBA. A big update in technology and safety for our members.

Update: Lacombe Fire and AHS EMS have cleared scene on Milton Road. Road remains closed for RCMP between Range Road 26-0 and Range Road 26-2. Please avoid the area and respect detours and roadblocks.
