🚨TENNESSEE SET TO EXECUTE A WOMAN FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 200 YEARS

Her name is Christa Gail Pike. She is 50. She is the only woman on Tennessee’s death row.

The state set her execution for Wednesday, Sept. 30. Method: lethal injection at Riverbend prison in Nashville.

Gov. Bill Lee said he will not stop it. Her lawyers asked the U.S. Supreme Court for a stay.

In 1995 she was 18. She and her boyfriend were convicted of torturing and killing Colleen Slemmer, 19. They were classmates at Knoxville Job Corps.

Pike got the death sentence in 1996. She has not denied the killing.

If Tennessee carries this out, she will be the first woman the state has executed since about 1820.

Two LSU fraternities are under interim suspension as separate hazing investigations continue, with allegations involving a broken collarbone and pledges vomiting. Seven individuals have received hazing citations.

Delta Kappa Epsilon is accused of waterboarding new members during wall sits, with a report alleging a pledge’s collarbone was broken during the process.

Phi Gamma Delta is accused of forcing pledges to chug a gallon of chocolate milk, as well as making new members stand blindfolded for two hours with their hands in the air after they failed to bring a squirrel to a meeting.

The I-TEAM obtained reports detailing the allegations against both fraternities.

Mother sobs in court after leaving her four children at home alone, including an infant, so she could go on a Carnival cruise.

29-year-old Nathalie Belizaire was arrested for leaving her children at home so she could go on a four-day cruise to the Bahamas.

Police say they found the four children hiding together in the bathroom.

The mother is facing four counts of child neglect.

I have exclusively obtained a 27-page pre-suit demand letter sent to Sunny Hostin on behalf of Nolan Wells’ friends, Warren Hudson, Jax Pitalo, and Morgan Seymour.

According to the letter, attorneys Edward Andrew Paltzik and J. Tyler Cox are demanding that Hostin apologize, retract, and delete statements they allege were defamatory regarding the three young men and the death of Nolan Wells.

The attorneys specifically point to comments Hostin made on The View and Behind the Table, including her discussion of the “three boys” who were with Nolan and questions surrounding Nolan’s phone and the investigation.

The letter alleges that Hostin’s statements falsely suggested serious wrongdoing involving Warren, Jax, and Morgan, including potential involvement in murder, hindering prosecution, and tampering with physical evidence.

The attorneys also raise what they describe as a conflict involving Hostin’s longtime relationship with attorney Ben Crump, who represents Nolan Wells’ family. The letter also references Hostin’s statement that her daughter was interning at Crump’s law firm.

The attorneys are demanding a public apology and retraction, deletion of the challenged statements, and written confirmation that the requested corrective actions have been taken.

And there’s a 10-day deadline.

If Hostin and her attorneys do not respond within 10 days of being served, the letter states that the attorneys will proceed accordingly and litigation will become necessary.
