Gen. Emeka Ojukwu was former Military Governor of the Eastern Region in 1966. He was also the leader of the Republic of Biafra from 1967-1970. On this day in 2012, he was buried in his Nnewi hometown, aged 78.

The World Economic Forum has reportedly issued guidance to U.S. electors, suggesting they withhold certification of the presidential election results should Trump emerge victorious.

An article released by a WEF-associated publication on Friday, titled “How Democrats Could Disqualify Trump If the Supreme Court Doesn’t,” proposes a strategy for Democrats to challenge the election outcome if it does not favor them.

The piece expresses concern over the Supreme Court's deliberation on the 14th Amendment following Colorado's controversial decision to exclude Trump from the 2024 ballot, hinting that Democrats might need to explore alternative methods to prevent Trump's election through means not aligned with traditional democratic procedures.
