@jawmeister@LeastHesFunny_ "Dog" in this case is used to refer to betrayal, as in "you dogged me out" or "that's so fucking dog". "Dog cunt" is used only on the absolute worst slime of a person you have the displeasure of knowing.
@AeonCrowley The design matches her manga version, and ITEM volume 3 talked about how she was always hanging around Konori and Aomi, so it made sense that it was her. She'll show up a bunch this season, so it makes sense to establish her now.
@M_Ridley_@tasteof_rage Yeah the city was much smaller in prior gens so they weren't hosting 1.8 million espers back then. In the MO flashback 15 years ago Senior watches the city actively growing to prepare for the current generation.
@tasteof_rage The prior espers are probably around somewhere but you barely see them because the city's population is flooded with current espers, and the prior espers weren't developed as efficiently (no parameter list/older version of it) so their powers are weaker on average.
@tasteof_rage The current generation of espers began just before Touma entered AC. The previous gens were smaller in scale. In Mental Out you can see the city expanding to prepare for the next (current)gen (because Touma had just been born by then and Aleister was getting things ready for him)
I like how it's the exact same tour guide from Railgun episode 1 reciting the exact same script from Railgun episode 1 but you can tell that she's become more confident at her tour guide job by the time of Railgun episode 1.
@AeonCrowley They're going to appear again later in the season (kinda) so it's helpful to establish them in episode 1. Same reasoning with the Erina and Mitori cameos.
