@ChrysantheaPris @Vaporiate @Flats_OW @HoshizoraOW To answer your question, no cause back in peak ow1 (owl s1/s2) whenever I ran into Hoshi in comp on my main/smurfs they were hardstuck masters for the longest time. However, the comment doesn't necessarily apply to them since they did reach gm/t500 towards the end of ow1.

He's making logical & good takes abt balance philosophies for heroes+the game & how heroes like Mercy DON'T fit this game since its unhealthy for the comp scene. As Mercy, you learn like 1/5th of OW fundamentals, have no mech skill and can get GM/T500 + can't flex to anything else if u get C/Pd

Every agent requires a certain threshold of game sense and mechanics to play correctly.Casuals there still play and have fun but they will be stuck in the metal ranks where they belong
