@FranziaMom Next level of this is this guy that seemingly just writes riffs on his acoustic and posts them on IG constantly, feels like he's doing similar vibe riffs mixed with more emo-adjacent stuff: https://t.co/jFbZOBrquS
@AGoldmund Believe it or not, there is a Thrill Jockey release that is in a way describing this. The title basically means "ancient baby" and it's YoshimiO from Boredoms/OOIOO doing an experimental raga band

Coming in 2026, as we celebrate our 30th anniversary, we’re finally planning to add a comments section and reader scores to all of our album reviews. That’s over 30,000 pieces of music criticism on which you’ll be able to leave your own Pitchfork review and score for the very first time. We’re going to beta test with 500 readers now, and we’ll be back with more information soon. We can’t wait for your takes to be on our website.
I don't often still check in here, but when I do, I'm reminded of some of the fun, and way more of the worst cultural, particularly film and music, takes I've ever seen. Great stuff, keep it up.
can’t believe people are tut tutting “graphic video” dude I’ve been seeing little kids get their limbs shredded into ribbons and burned alive in hospital beds for two years that was nothing
Wait... are other people not also switching constantly? I always do neck for clean and bridge for distorted unless I want a more fuzzed out sound. I know neck for leads is a thing but I don't care about that.
