Does winning the Herbert Power this year result in a Melbourne cup penalty. I’ve seen people say yes and no. If it does then hard to see the intent from Zakouma and Shockletz. I think Shockletz taking the blinkers off shows that lack of intent.
I don’t want to go early crow but I’m expecting to see cosmic crusader news very very soon. No inside scoop but onto favourite in the CC on tab. Most sites market down
In the car going to Flemington. The have got this all wrong with the parking, why are all the taxis going down the same road as the cars parking on course. Taxis and Ubers should be directed to one side and cars parking on course to the other. You’d think it would be common sense
🚨 KA YING RISING INJURY RUMOUR 🚨
I’ve been hearing whispers that Ka Ying Rising may have picked up an injury, and honestly… everything is starting to add up. 👀
Since arriving in Australia, we’ve seen nothing but a very light little jog publicly. No serious work. No big gallops. Nothing that you’d expect to see from a horse of his calibre.
Could it all be connected? 🤔
I’m NOT saying this is confirmed but the whispers are getting louder, and the lack of serious work is certainly raising eyebrows.
Watch this space. 🐎🔥
@Matt__Welsh_ This was pulled from a https://t.co/kZ6vgrK8Ci article from 2022. There isn't a average field size for those 138 races, only that they all had 12+ runners.
A broader 465 race sample, includes smaller fields, showed a similar pattern — 52.7% of winners were top 4 at the 800m.
Caulfield +13m since 2010 with the rail +10m to +14m
52.7% of wins were top 4 at the 800m
In 138 races with 12+ runners, only 19 (13.8%) won from 10th back
14 of those 19 came at 1400+
I cant comment on speed maps but could be a concern for some favourites likely to settle back
Absolutely fuming to have backed extragalactic all ins in the Manikato. Rail out means field of 13 now and he’s sitting at 14th in the ballot. Me and Jmac are both sweating on someone else pulling out.
