An observation: Most of us treat our phones better than our bodies.
We charge them before they die.
We update their software.
We protect them with cases.
We panic when they glitch.
But ourselves? We run on empty, put off important maintenance and upgrades. And ignore the warnings.
Some gave all.
At Arlington National Cemetery, every day is Memorial Day.
Each year, on the last Monday of May, we join the nation in remembering the men and women who sacrificed their lives for our nation.
Remember what life was like before you had a smartphone and 7,000 apps at your fingertips all at once? Remember the time you had to think, focus, create and reflect?
Your so-called smartphone... it's not a smartphone in many respects. From a lifestyle wellbeing standpoint, it's a dumbphone.
It's distracting you, eating away at your sleep quality, attention and concentration, numbing and dumbing you down. Making you feel less joyful, more anxious, depressed, dependent and even more isolated.
Try freeing yourself from digital addiction for 24 or 48 hours. Find a place for your device besides your hand or your pocket. Put it away or better yet, turn it off.

The "good life" requires proactive energy management.
If you're tired or exhausted every day, you're done. The best recharge tools include 4+ liters of H2O for hydration, 7+ hours of sleep, and 45-min. of exercise as your baseline. If you're struggling, try it for a month.

1. Exhale completely thru your mouth, making a whoosh sound.
2. Close mouth & inhale quietly through your nose to a mental count of 4.
3. Hold your breath for a count of 7.
4. Exhale via mouth, make whoosh sound for count of 8.
I found in life the best way to beat hell and the fire that comes with it, is to start your own internal fire and become hell. By doing that, you are destroying all of the fuels that hell’s fire is trying to take you out with. Stay hard!
