The Bible never says Rebekah was born when Sarah died, so the “3 years old” claim falls apart.

In Book of Genesis 24, she’s drawing water, serving camels, and making decisions, clearly not a toddler.

It’s Sunday again, so here’s a question for my Christian friends.

📖 In the Bible (2 Kings 2:23-24), a group of youths mocked the prophet Elisha by calling him "baldhead." God's response? He sent two bears out of the woods that mauled 42 of them to death. Brutal, right?

My question is simple.

If mocking God or a prophet deserves death, why are Muslims constantly criticised for being “violent” when blasphemy is discussed, yet this story about forty two young people being killed is still described as the act of a loving God?

How do Christians reconcile that?

@MasterMaliq @MasterMaliq In Christianity we read the entire story in context and draw out the lessons from it. The simple lesson don’t mock God’s Anointed one, it doesn’t mean death but consequences. You can’t justify killing people for that, imagine a world if Christians did the same too.

One was an act done by God
The other is act ordered by men
That is why even though that happened there was no record that Christians started killing people for that

God is all knowing and all powerful, he doesn’t make mistakes. Jesus is our only standard
