Official Account of Hon. (Dr) Oladipupo Adebutu, 2023 Ogun PDP Gubernatorial Candidate, Member, 3rd & 8th National Assembly, Federal House of Representatives
Every election cycle presents a defining moment for the future of our nation. Beyond the politics, campaigns and personalities, the choices we make at the polls have real consequences for our economy, our security, our institutions and the quality of life of our people.
As we look ahead to the 2027 elections, it is therefore important that our conversations go beyond political interests and focus on the issues that truly matter to Nigerians.
Today, I had the honour of attending the 7th Annual Lecture organised by Freedom Online, themed “2027 Elections: Economy, Security and Nigeria’s Future.”
It was a valuable opportunity to listen, reflect and engage with important perspectives on the direction of our country and the choices before us as we approach another crucial election cycle.
I was particularly honoured to share the occasion with His Excellency, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, @jidesanwoolu who was the Guest Speaker, His Excellency, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, @obalofin former Governor of Ogun State, who was the Special Guest of Honour and Alhaji Lai Mohammed former Minister of Information.
As Nigerians, we must continue to encourage conversations that place the national interest above personal and partisan considerations. The future we desire will ultimately be shaped by the decisions we make today.
Congratulations to my dear brother, His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Adeleke, @AAdeleke_01, on his resounding re-election as Governor of Osun State.
This is a victory for the people, a victory for democracy and a powerful affirmation that the will of the people will always prevail.
Your Excellency, may God continue to grant you wisdom, strength and grace as you serve the good people of Osun State.
Indeed, Imole has prevailed, and the light continues to shine 💡
