People don’t know what dribbling means. They often confuse flashy skills with dribbling.
Dribbling is beating people, not any of that flashy nonsense. Messi is the best dribbler of all time. De Lima is next. Neymar, Suarez and Hazard are the next tier.
We were the 1st acts in Naija to have a cartoon video. My label owners at the time had a friend called Kenway Oforeh. I think he had just graduated in Animation and Cartooning at the time. I MIGHT BE WRONG. He later did several cartoon videos in the industry & for adverts. 💝
This is what I call a conflict of identity. Believe it or not, no matter what denomination of Christianity you practise, you cannot become a Roman, or an English, or a Scottish person.
@AdemolaOgudu What about we Yorubas that are Christians, but support cultural preservation?
I have my own spirituality, But Yoruba is my identity and philosophy.
I’ll love to learn more about my ancestors as philosophy and theology, but I cross the line at the divination practices.
No. Quite the opposite. That one went lobbying, wooing & begging the Governor’s various wives (literally on bent knees in one of my stepmother’s houses) to put in a good word of support into their husband’s ears, continued & lobbied the Governor’s older brother. Shared cash & gifts to those he calculated had influence on that said Governor. Eventually all the pressure got to the Governor & the Governor acceded to the pleas of various family members who felt Alhaji Towel has been loyal & should be considered top of the list. (Even with great minds like Dattijo vying for the same position).
It had nothing to do with electability. One is just a habitual hypocrite & chameleon.
This is an incredible story but I must tell it, if only because the nation deserves to know.
I woke up this morning and my 1-year-old nephew was staring at me. Not blinking. Not babbling. Staring. The kind of stare that suggests a man who has read three policy documents before breakfast and found them wanting.
I asked him why he was looking at me like I owed his mother rent, and why, at this critical hour, he was not in school preparing to rescue the Republic.
“Let me cut to the chase,” he said, “because this isn’t a sparring session. If we miss Seyi in 2027, I will not forgive you. Nigeria needs a paradigm shift. We don’t just need a new Nigeria, we need a better country. And you’ve got to play your part. If you don’t do this, you are after my life.”
I had to go back to bed. Because reality felt like a dream. I never wake up as I dey type so.
@LawrenceEzeali@TheYemiKing@Imranmuhdz Yes, Nigeria is short of investors. These are why strong revolutionary policies need to be promulgated.
Barring that, Nigeria hold a kind of undescribed power in Black Africa.
SA felt jolted as soon as they heard the matter discussed in the assembly.
@LawrenceEzeali@TheYemiKing@Imranmuhdz 3- Nigeria is never short of investors, ask the right people around. Yes, we have a downward economy.
4- refer to 1-, and mind you Nigerian have had a history of expropriation.
@LawrenceEzeali@TheYemiKing@Imranmuhdz I am not a verified user would have loved to render an elongated rejoinder.
For 1- Chelsea FC is gone, a casualty of the war.
2- That's shallow thinking for international politics. Each country needs the other.
