Today's the day! We lucked out and have beautiful weather for our Fall Ultimate Clinic. See you at noon at the Ladue Fifth Grade Center. Bring a friend! Bring several!
Sunshine and high sixties-temps...sounds like the ultimate forecast for a little Ultimate! 3pm "Octhrowberfest" scrimmage today at the Fifth Grade Center. Don't forget the pretzels! (And sunscreen and water.)
Practice is on at noon tomorrow! Temps should be in the upper 80s/low 90s during practice time, with plenty of sun. H20 makes a handler go! Can't throw the disc if hydration's at risk! (In other, less annoying words, remember to bring a water bottle and drink lots of water.)
A thoughtful decision from the Tulane Tucks...though I want a follow-up article about what the dude with the old team logo tattoo is going to do. (Maybe change it to "T-Rex" and add a scary dinosaur. Just a suggestion.) https://t.co/ynq30xbHtK
Want to play better and get injured less? Two words: strength training. LHWHS athletes can use the weight room after school and at seminar, but players of all ages should do pushups, lunges and run regularly. (And now you know the coracobrachialis muscle exists. You're welcome.)
The first pickup practice of the season: noon tomorrow at the Ladue Fifth Grade Center! (Charm, the Official Cat of Ladue Ultimate, says NO DOGS allowed on the field.) All are welcome — come and play!
Charm, the official cat of Ladue Ultimate, is helping with preparations for the Activity Fair on Monday, August 26 at LHWHS during seminar. LHWHS students, show up and sign up for Ultimate to CATch on!
Representation from Ladue on @StLStormUlti at the 2019 YCC Championship last weekend in Blaine, MN, helping secure a (likely) 17th Place finish for the Storm! #hailyes
