@BrianEntin If Riley were attempting to go pee in the “brushy area” which we know was the bank of the river, but actually stumbled while he had his pants down perhaps he wouldn’t have pants on once discovered? Also was the boots come off from be water-logged?

@SmileyFaceCult I wondered if this would be the case. My guess is he went over to the brush area to pee as he had been walking for quite a while with no hotel in sight. If he were peeing and lost his footing & fell into the water it might make sense his pants wouldn’t be on.
