@nataliesparacio Longterm steroid use was the most damaging for me! I was unrecognizable to myself and others, and I never found much support for those body changes and the mental health impact from 'roids.
@patientpolitics Good luck. The work I've done with an IBD psych has been transformative, maybe the most significant improvement in my care. No diagnosis but ID'd my tendencies toward depression/anxiety and link to IBD flares/inflammation.
