A causa oficial do acidente foi investigada e não apontou sabotagem. Mas as circunstâncias daquele episódio continuam sendo lembradas e discutidas até hoje.
Agora olhem o cenário: ministro sob ameaça, carro blindado, segurança reforçada e família escoltada.
Coincidência? Cada um tire suas próprias conclusões.

Justice Alexandre de Moraes has once again exposed the depths of Brazil’s judicial abuse. This Saturday, former president Jair Bolsonaro will be allowed — by court permission — to host a small family lunch to celebrate his daughter’s 15th birthday. What should be a joyful, intimate family occasion has been turned into an act of humiliation under judicial control.

Moraes’ decision dictates every detail of the gathering: only nine pre-approved guests may attend — including Senator Damares Alves and members of Michelle Bolsonaro’s prayer group — and all vehicles leaving the property will be searched and inspected by authorities. Even within his own home, Bolsonaro remains under constant supervision, as if celebrating his daughter’s life were a threat to the State.

The image is heartbreaking and disgraceful: the former president of Brazil, elected by more than 58 million citizens and never convicted of corruption, now needs authorization from a single judge to share a meal with his family. His home, which should be his refuge, has been turned into a monitored cage. His daughter’s birthday — a symbol of affection and family unity — has become a display of state dominance and personal degradation.

This is not justice; it is political persecution disguised as legality. Moraes’ decision is not about law or security — it is about power, submission, and humiliation. It shows that in today’s Brazil, dissent is punished not through fair trials, but through psychological and symbolic destruction.

Even more shameful is the silence of the so-called conservative establishment, too cowardly or self-interested to condemn what is clearly an abuse of power. They watch in silence as a father is humiliated in front of his family, afraid to lose their positions or privileges.

When a country reaches the point where a man must beg the Supreme Court for permission to celebrate his daughter’s birthday, freedom no longer exists — only fear does. And fear is exactly what tyrants like Moraes depend on to rule.
